Florida Suppressors & Silencers Laws (2026)
Conditional: Suppressors are legal in Florida once you comply with the federal National Firearms Act (NFA).
Suppressors are legal in Florida once you comply with the federal National Firearms Act (NFA). Florida removed its prohibition on silencer-equipped hunting in 2014 (FAC 68A-12.002), so suppressors are now legal for all hunting, on private land and in wildlife management areas (WMAs) alike. You must still meet the federal NFA requirements.
