RESTRICTED

Singapore lets travellers bring in up to 3 months' supply of personal medication without approval - but only if the medicine is not prohibited and needs no prior approval, and quantities over 3 months' supply are not allowed at all. Any personal medication containing a controlled substance (substances in the Second and Third Schedules to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations or the First Schedule to the Health Products (Therapeutic Products) Regulations 2016, plus other medications of concern listed by the Health Sciences Authority) needs HSA approval first: apply in English at least 2 weeks before you arrive. Carry a copy of a valid prescription or doctor's letter from your country of residence, keep each medicine in its original container or packaging labelled by the dispensing pharmacy with the patient's name, the medication name and the quantity, and keep your approval email and supporting documents ready for inspection on arrival.

Failure to comply will result in the medication being confiscated or enforcement action may be taken (Health Sciences Authority).
