- GeorgiaPermitted
Georgia sets no state limit on magazine capacity — there is no cap on how many rounds a magazine can hold. Georgia's prohibited-weapons law (OCGA 16-11-123) covers only sawed-off shotguns and rifles, machine guns, silencers and "dangerous weapons" — it sets no capacity limit — and OCGA 16-11-173 keeps firearm regulation with the General Assembly, so local governments cannot set their own limits.
