  • IdahoPermitted

In Idaho, groceries and convenience stores sell beer and wine — table wine up to 16% alcohol by volume and dessert wine from 16% to 24% — and wine sales are a county local option. Spirits come only from state liquor stores and Idaho State Liquor Division (ISLD) contract retailers, some of which operate inside groceries. Spirit-based ready-to-drink cans at or below 14% alcohol by volume sell as wine; above that they are liquor.

  • NevadaPermitted

In Nevada, groceries and convenience stores sell all three — beer, wine and spirits — because Nevada's retail liquor store definition carries no product-class or store-type limit, though hours are set locally. State law sets no closing hour, but NRS 369.190 and 369.320 leave licensing and hours to counties and cities, so 24-hour availability is the norm in Clark and Washoe rather than a statewide guarantee. Expect local variation elsewhere.

  • WashingtonPermitted

In Washington, groceries and convenience stores sell all three — beer, wine and spirits — as they have since the 2012 privatization.
